Common Questions The information contained in this section was developed by professional stylists who cater to the needs of chemotherapy patients; however, it is not intended to replace medical advice provided by your health care provider.

Each Strands for Stars client is paired with one of our professional stylist. Our stylist will discuss individual needs including hair color, accessorizing and style. If the client prefers to have a one-on-one consultation before selecting a wig, we can arrange for a pre-style consultation.

Or, our clients can select from our inventory of wigs that are displayed below. These wigs have been selected by our professional style team in order to provide our clients will a wide variety of fashionable wigs. Once a wig is selected, Strands for Stars for ship the wig, along with the care kit to the client. Then the client will take the wig to their Strands for Stars stylist for their peronal styling session. Special request can be accommodated.

Steps to ordering a wig:

• Select a color and style
• Measure your head (see diagram below to ensure proper measurements)
• Contact our office and a representative will help set up an appointment with one of our professional stylists*
• Your wig will be shipped to you and you will then take the wig with you to your appointment.

*Remember many of our stylists work in the film industry. Ask them to share some of their stories.

Wig Selection
Here is a sample of our wig inventory. Typically, we provide synthetic wigs; however, we will work with each client to ensure they have the wig of their choice. We work closely with a variety of manufacturers and can provide discounts on many styles of wigs. If you see a style that you like, contact us and we'll handle the rest.
