Strands for Stars is an organization that specializes in creating fashionable, yet comfortable and natural-looking hair prosthetics for adults and children experiencing hair loss due to cancer. Founded by Judy Bickerton, a professional hair stylist and make-up artist for the film industry, Strands for Stars brings together a caring group of volunteer hair stylists wanting to make a difference in the lives of individuals that can truly benefit from their talent. Strands for Stars' stylists recognize that the courage and strength demonstrated by those we serve is remarkable - our clients are truly the stars.
